What should I expect at my appointment?

Salt Therapy is very simple.  Just relax in the comfort of our large reclining massage chairs. You may use your phone or tablet, read, listen to music or even take a nap.

Our Salt Room has 5 large reclining massage chairs & children's area.  Because of the communal setting, we request that quiet be maintained where possible and phones/tablet be turned to silent mode. Some people use salt therapy for meditation or deep relaxation.

Clients are required to wear provided plastic shoe covers when in the salt room. We also provide plastic berets to cover your hair.

Due to the high amount of salt on the floor and on the walls, the salt room can be cool at times so we provide clean blankets if you need to warm up a bit during your session.

All sessions are 45 minutes.

What is the difference between being at the beach or ocean and Salt Therapy?

The natural anti inflammatory effect of salt, is it's ability to draw fluid. When you breathe in sea air, it is already moist and has less of an anti inflammatory effect. When you breathe in dry salt aerosol in a salt room, the minute particles line your airways and draw out the fluid from the inflamed airway. This fluid, now mixed with the salt goes to work on cleaning the walls of the airways, resulting in the sufferer coughing up the congestion.
